Burst macro (simpler, less control)
Macro order
- Insignia Explosion
- Heart Gore
- Savage Roar
GamesFuze and PlayHub put the burst skills in the macro. Easier to play, but it can fire Insignia Explosion before the stacks are up.
Keep these out of the macro
- Illusive Clone Main buff, use it at the start of a fight. (GamesFuze: Assassin build and rotation, games.gg: Assassin build, ExpCarry: Assassin guide)
- Swift Contract Main buff, use it at the start of a fight. (GamesFuze: Assassin build and rotation, ExpCarry: Assassin guide)
- Triniel's Dagger Cooldown reset, use it once you are in position. (GamesFuze: Assassin build and rotation, ExpCarry: Assassin guide)
- Shadowstrike Moves you behind the target. (GamesFuze: Assassin build and rotation, DTGRE: Insignia Explosion macro timing)
- Evasion Stance Save it for an incoming attack. (PlayHub: best builds for each class, DTGRE: Insignia Explosion macro timing)
Where guides disagree
- Guides split into two camps: GamesFuze and PlayHub macro Insignia Explosion and Heart Gore; games.gg and ExpCarry keep both manual and macro only Quick Slice > Savage Roar; DTGRE keeps only Insignia Explosion manual.
- games.gg and ExpCarry cite a Korean/Taiwanese balance update that lengthened the Savage Roar to Heart Gore cancel; ExpCarry was written just before the global launch.
Setting it up
- Bind a macro key first: it has no key by default. Settings > Key Settings > General > Gameplay > Macro.
- Open the Skill window (K), press Macro at the top right and add a macro.
- Each entry points at a hotbar slot, not a skill. Change the skill in that slot and the macro follows it.
- Leave the delay at the default 10 ms. If skills get skipped on a high ping, raise it to about 40-50 ms.
- In combat, hold the key. A single tap fires only the first entry, and pressing a skill yourself takes over from the macro.
- Try the macro on a training dummy before a dungeon.
Macro chains summarise player guides (Community source). Skill names are matched to the official global Assassin skill list; anything a guide did not state is left out, not guessed. Full general notes: how macros work.
