AION 2 Macros

Hold one key and the game presses your hotbar skills for you, in order or by priority within a slot. Here is how to set it up, and what to put in it for each class.

Updated

Macro chains here come from player guides (Community source) and are only shown when at least two guides agree. Skill names match the official global skill list. Checked against Global patch Oct 7, 2026.

How to set up a macro

  1. Bind a macro key first: it has no key by default. Settings > Key Settings > General > Gameplay > Macro. (GamesFuze: macro setup guide, games.gg: skills, items and macros, Allthings.how: macros and delay, Mein-MMO: macros for all classes)
  2. Open the Skill window (K), press Macro at the top right and add a macro. (GamesFuze: macro setup guide, games.gg: skills, items and macros, Allthings.how: macros and delay, Mein-MMO: macros for all classes)
  3. Each entry points at a hotbar slot, not a skill. Change the skill in that slot and the macro follows it. (Allthings.how: macros and delay, Mein-MMO: macros for all classes)
  4. Leave the delay at the default 10 ms. If skills get skipped on a high ping, raise it to about 40-50 ms. (GamesFuze: macro setup guide, games.gg: skills, items and macros, Allthings.how: macros and delay)
  5. In combat, hold the key. A single tap fires only the first entry, and pressing a skill yourself takes over from the macro. (games.gg: skills, items and macros, Allthings.how: macros and delay)
  6. Try the macro on a training dummy before a dungeon. (games.gg: skills, items and macros, Allthings.how: macros and delay)
