AION 2 Daevanion Board Guide

The five Daevanion boards, how many nodes each has, how you pay for them, and the reasons behind the usual order. Use a planner for the exact path.

To know what to click first on each board without reading a 200-node map.

This page gives you

The board list from the official armory, how boards work, and short rules for the order. It does not repeat a planner; it explains why. What each node gives per class is unknown here: we have not collected node contents.

Official source Board names and node counts come from the official armory for sampled level-45 Gladiators (Elyos and Asmodian had the same list). Other classes were not checked, so a class with a different board list is possible but not seen. Some planners spell two boards "Byzel" and "Asphel"; the official armory uses Vaizel and Azphel. Community source Unlock levels are from a global-data planner (data of Oct 6, 2026).

How the boards work

Community source NCSoft has not published board rules in English; these come from a planner built on global data.

What to take first, and why

  1. Spend crystals as soon as a board opens. Unspent crystals do nothing for you.
  2. Take the +1 skill-level nodes for your core skills first. Progression guides name these as the first pick.
  3. Do not finish one board before moving on. Guides advise moving to the next board once your useful nodes are taken, rather than buying every node on one board.
  4. Path toward a corner you want. Because of the path rule, pick the edge or corner node first (cooldown, combat speed), then take the cheapest route to it.
  5. Match the stats to your build. Prefer nodes with the stats your class guide ranks highest, see stats explained.

Community source Rules 1 to 3 follow published progression guides; 4 and 5 follow from the path rule and the class stat orders. No official recommended order exists.

By class

Which skills to raise first is in each class build: the core skills listed there are the ones to find on the green nodes.
